Nail Lacquers & Body/Face Cream by Alter Ego

Good afternoon everyone!  I hope you are all having a lovely day!  Today I have some lovely lacquers and cream from Alter Ego to share with you guys.  Alter Ego has recently reformulated their base for better suspension, coverage, and application so today I have three of those reformulated lacquers.

First up is First Love.  This is a beautiful purple to pink to blue shimmer jelly.  It is a bit on the sheer side so you will have to layer for full coverage or you could wear over an accent base.  In my photos I am wearing three coats of First Love.

Next up is Secret Lover, one of my favorites.  This is a bright red jelly filled with gold holographic micro glitter.  The glitter spread very evenly and left very little texture.  Again this is a bit sheer so you will need to layer or wear over a coordinating base.  In my photos I am wearing three coats of Secret Lover.

Lastly for the lacquers we have Family Friend Forever.  This is a lovely blue shimmer jelly with a hint of purple shimmer.  Application and formula were both great.  In my photos I am wearing three coats of Family Friend Forever.

Now for the Alter Ego Double Agent Body and Face Cream.  I have been using the Double Agent cream twice a day on my face for a week now and I am loving it!  The oils absorber fairly quickly and don’t leave me greasy all day.  Double Agent is a made up of babassu oil, kokum butter, unrefined undeodorized shea butter, vitamin E, polysorbate 80, optphen, essential oils, stearic acid, and hydrolyzed silk powder.  Since this product is made with unrefined shea butter, it has a bit of a woody play dough scent.  I personally liked the scent but some people tend to not care for the woody scents so I thought I should note this.  Alter Ego also wanted me to note that sometimes the cream can have a bit of sandy texture due to the heating and cooling process but this will not effect the application or effectiveness of the product.  I personally have not experienced that in mine but do want to make people aware.  Overall, I love this stuff and it has replaced my higher end facial moisturizers.  One other thing I want to say….THANK YOU Cynthia for giving the hand scooper!!!!!!  As a lady with long nails, you are the best!!! There is nothing worse then digging products out of a pot and getting it stuck under your nail!!!
