Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend!! I am finally back after being knocked out by the flu and ready to share my Garnet nails for the 52 Week Nail Challenge 2018. When coming up with ideas for the challenge I decided to add each month’s birthstone as a challenge. While some might look at this to be a little “boring”, I personally think it’s a great way to celebrate each participants birth month and I’m sure many like me love finding shades to rock for their birth month. Let’s take a look at my pick for Garnet.
I really wanted to go with just a solid color for this challenge so I dove in to my collection looking for that perfect Garnet shade that would shine on its own. Oswin from Zoya does just that! Those who have been following for a long time know I love my Pixie Dust lacquers so I was thrilled to see Oswin would work beautifully for the Garnet challenge. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Oswin and no top coat so I get the full Pixie Dust effect.
So what do you guys think of my pick for Garnet? Oh how I love Pixie Dust lacquers!!! They are so beautiful all on their own and need no extra work to have them looking stunning. I did use an Elmer’s Glue base coat to make later removal a little easier. Thank you so much for stopping by tonight and I will see you all again soon! <3

Same here! I got so many compliments while wearing this too, it’s amazing how much they stand out.
In general, I’m “over” the textured polish thing, but I loooove the chunky glitters in this shade! Beautiful!
The chunky glitter was certainly a great way to up the texture game. Pixie Dusts are the only ones I will wear.

Pixie Dusts are the best textured lacquers for sure!!! I tend to wear a peeling base coat but when I don’t, they really do hold up well!!

It has been awful this season!!! So many people have died and so many that were hospitalized. I’m so glad I listened to my body and went to the doc immediately, I cut my flu time drastically!!!
