Good evening everyone! I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend! Tonight I have blends from three lovely collections from Vivid Lacquer to share with you guys, so grab a warm drink and kick back because I have tons of pics to share! Most of these blends will be available tomorrow at 3:00 PM PST and there will also be some new stamping plates too! As a matter of fact, I need to check my mail. My new snowflake plate should be out there! Enough about that, on to the polish!
First I am going to share the As You Wish Trio. The first polish is The Sea After a Storm. This is a dark teal/green blend with scatter holo and gold flakes. I really love this one and feel it is perfect for the holiday season. I only needed two good coats to get solid coverage.
Next up is Fire Swamp. This is a murky green to yellow green blend with a slight red shimmer. This stuff really has a creepy swamp feel and I caught myself looking over my shoulders as I was applying it. Again, application was flawless. I used just two coats but probably should have went with three.
Lastly in this collection, Not A Lot of Money In Revenge. I loved this berry colored blend! It has a wonderful shimmer that the camera just went crazy over! I used two good coats for my photos.
Next is the Pin-up Collaboration. Anni worked with Jess W., a pin-up photographer, to create a fun pin-up inspired collection. These two will be released at a later date through Jess W Photography but be sure to keep up with Vivid Lacquer on Facebook for more info. First up is Bettie Sage. Let me just say this up front, throw all of your other mints out the window and grab this one! Bettie Sage is a mint crelly with a subtle copper shimmer that is just stunning. Like most mint colored blends it had a streaky look but once I applied a top coat it smoothed out beautifully. I am wearing three coats in my photos.
Next up is Crimson Vixens. This is a fun, bright red crelly with a subtle aqua, copper, and red shimmer. The shimmer was gorgeous and the bright red was very sexy. I used just two coats in my photos.
Lastly is a new addition to Vivid Lacquers Theoretically line. Theoretically Nude is a nude crelly with dark flecks and a subtle pink shimmer. I can not even begin to tell you how much I loved this blend, and for the record I normally hate nude polish! I used two coats in my photos.
Wow! So what do you guys think of the new Winter collection? Which was your favorite? I couldn’t pick just one but The Sea After a Storm, Bettie Sage, and Theoretically Nude all tied for my favorite! Please take a moment to check out other great blends and plates from Vivid Lacquer. Remember the As You Wish Trio and Theoretically Nude will be available tomorrow, Dec. 2, at 3:00 PM PST and Crimson Vixen and Bettie Sage will be released at a later date. Follow Vivid Lacquer on Facebook for all their release info! Thank you so much for stopping by this evening and I look forward to seeing you all again tomorrow! <3
