Happy Black Friday! I hope you are all having a wonderful day! For the first time, I was up and out of the house early this morning, standing in line waiting for a store to open. I’ve never been one for the crowds and shopping this day, but I knew I would do a first when Record Store Day dropped their Black Friday Exclusives. A friend I have known since I was 14 had a limited edition vinyl release almost two years after his passing, and I knew I had to have it. Dan had an infectious smile, and that first time I met him will always be in my heart. Living in a small town, I had never met anyone quite like Dan, and he said he was true to himself through life, and I’m glad I knew him.
I was at the local record store, Cosmic Debris, an hour before they opened, standing in line and keeping my fingers crossed. The Lost Record by Dan Sartain was limited to just 1000 copies, so I knew I had to be there early. Luckily, there were two copies, and I could snag one! I also picked up two other special releases, The Beach Boys’ Christmas Album and Punk Goes Christmas, which are full of Fearless Records artists doing Christmas songs.
With the Christmas albums I picked up still playing, I thought today would be a great day to share my first Holiday/Christmas/Winter look of the season. I warned, once the turkey is in the fridge, it’s Christmas time in my house!
For today’s look, I pulled out an oldie! I started my manicure with three coats of Candycane Magique by SuperChic Lacquer and then used some Candy Cane decals from Shein. The candy canes came from a mixed batch; there was just enough for this look. Everything is then sealed with two coats of Marvel Liquid Macro from SuperChic Lacquer.
I love the added Candy Canes with the SuperChic Lacquer!!!! It’s subtle and mixes well with the polish. So, what would you guys like to see from me this holiday season? I bake, craft, and do my nails, and I can share it all! Thank you all for stopping by today, and please leave me a comment to let me know someone is out there!
