Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful and safe 4th of July. I am enjoying some abnormally cool weather for Alabama and a much deserved 3 day weekend. The past few years I have had to work the 4th weekend so this year is an extra happy time for me. The end of May I finally transitioned into my new position at work so that’s why I haven’t been around lately. I have been pretty focused on learning as much as possible as quickly as I can. I am finally getting into the grove of things and look forward to getting back to blogging. I figured this would be a great weekend to kick things off again.
One advantage to my new job, it’s an office position so that means my nails are finally getting some love again. Which also makes nail art fun again because I know it’s going to last more than a day. Since I’m getting longer life out of my manicures, I figured this year I would step things up for my 4th look. First I started off with two coats of Night Sparkle by Nubar. Next I used vinyl tape to mark off a stripe and followed up with Fire Sparkle by Nubar. Once I peeled the vinyl tape I was left with a very distinct blue stripe. I lined the stripe with some silver holographic nail art tape. Everything was then sealed with two generous coats of Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat by SuperChic Lacquer.
So what do you guys think of my 4th of July look this year? My favorite for sure! I have done a lot of looks over the years and this one will probably be a repeat moving forward because it was exactly what I had been wanting. I have been working on cleaning and reorganizing my office and thanks to that, I found a bunch of old lacquers like these Nubars. As soon as I saw them I knew they would be used for the 4th this year. Along with cleaning, I am purging a ton of polish so be sure to check out my blog sale tab up top, 5 for $25 shipped to a US address and you get to pick the polishes. Thank you all so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again soon! <3
