Good evening everyone! I am super excited to share today’s manicure with you guys. Last night I decided at the last minute to go to a super late night showing of Maleficent. Of course I scurried around quickly to do a mani inspired by the amazing Maleficent and I think the combo I came up with is just perfect. I won’t spoil it for those who haven’t seen the movie but I really enjoyed the movie. Sleeping Beauty is hands down my favorite Disney movie from my childhood and while the ending last night wasn’t what I expected, it was a pleasant twist to a typical Disney ending.
To create my Maleficent nails I used both Sinful Colors Black on Black and nubar Violet Sparkles. I used two coats of Black on Black to get a great ink black finish and then used just one coat of Violet Sparkles. I sealed it all with a coat of Gelous and a coat of HK Girl Fast Dry Top Coat.
So what do you guys think of my Maleficent inspired nails? I absolutely love them!!!! They had a nice sparkle but yet still dark and mysterious. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing you all again tomorrow. <3
I saw Maleficent last weekend and absolutely loved it. She has always been my favorite villain, and now, she’s just my favorite.
