Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful Saturday! Today I am back with a little more pattern matching and a first attempt at Saran Wrap nails. When I saw my latest leggings from Lisa Meyer, LuLaRoe Consultant, I knew I wanted to try doing some Saran Wrap nails to match the fabric. This was a technique I have been wanting to try for quiet sometime so now was the perfect kick I needed.
For my pattern matched nails I started off with three coats of Alpine Snow from OPI and a good coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat. Once everything was dried I used Age of Aquarius by Color Club and Saran Wrap to create a marbled look. This was way easier that I could have ever dreamed!!!! I used a 3 x 6 inch strip per each nail. I laid the strip flat at first to remove the top layer and then rolled it up and dabbed to create the marble look. If I took too much off then I just dabbed a small amount of color and Saran Wrap dab again. Everything was sealed with two coats of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
What do you guys think of my first set of Saran Wrap nails? HOLY CRAP! This may be one of my favorite techniques ever!!!!
