Good afternoon! I hope you all had an amazing weekend! After last weekend being nothing but rain and a roof leak, I was ready for some sun this weekend…even if I had to work one of the days and was on call. One thing I love about summertime is the sunsets! From the beach, the mountains, or an open field, there is something magical about a good sunset!
To capture my love for sunsets I decided to create a bright summery sunset on my nails. While sunsets can come in various shades, the ones that turn the sky red really are the most intense. For my firey sunset mani, I started off with two coats of Bee by Zoya. Next, I used Bee along with Rocha and Wendy by Zoya and a cheap makeup wedge to create a warm gradient. Everything is sealed with two coats of Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat by SuperChic Lacquer.

What do you guys think of my sunset inspired look? What is one of your favorite ways to relax during the warm months? Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again soon!

What a pretty combination. Those are two shades I’d never wear alone but together they stand out beautifully.
It’s actually three shades total, mixed together perfectly!
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!! I love this look for summer. Wish you could do it on me!
Awww, thank you so much! If you were close I would totally do these for you!
oooooooohh! Nicely done gradient! I love the orange!
Thanks!!! I am normally not an orange fan but these were perfect!
I love your sunset nail look. Sorry about the leaky roof.
Thanks! Looks like I will be getting a completely new roof!
The colours in your gradient work so well together and would make a great base for a fun stamped design too! I’m a water baby so lounging by the pool is my favorite way to relax during warm/hot days.
That is the perfect way to spend the summer!!!
I love this – perfect for summer!
They really are perfect for summer! Add in some palm trees and you got a tropical getaway on your nails!
Great job!!! Love this rendition
Thanks! I am super happy with how they turned out!
